Imo, atla has a bittersweet ending

Aang is sitting alone and wearing the air nomads clothes, his culture clothes, a necklace similar to GYATSO's necklace. I can't even imagine the emptiness and sadness he was feeling here

There are no airbenders in the crowd

All nation gathered..... except the air nomads.

No one else in the crowd wearing orange or yellow.

Aang won the war, but his people are still gone.

Yes, he has the Gaang, he has Katara, he has Momo and Appa. But he's still the last airbender.

It's the way Zutara shippers are so obsessed with posing Aang as 'a symbol of male violence' in Katara's life when Aang is a genocide survivor who lost his entire people at 12 by Zuko's people and canonically has the soft,understanding,supportive boyfriend role to Katara people wanted and still want for Zuko.But he dosen't 'deserve' those traits because he's not a rugged manly man as if women are prizes you need a criteria of masculinity to 'win' and Zuko's physical violence and borderline bullying words to Katara are thrown onto Aang to gaslight us into thinking Zuko,the Fire Nation,was a good guy all along for what he did to Aang,the Air Nomads.Aang invented decolonization during young adulthood in the Avatarverse and you fucking posers call him a liberal and 'a pussy' because he STOOD HIS GROUND against letting his etchnically cleansed culture be eradicated and also gaslight people about his later adult years to make up some nonexistent neglect he did on his kids since you have secret Zuzu tunnel vision.Sick in the head ass freaks and i know y'all be talking to irl genocide survivors like you do about Aang as i've SEEN that shit with my own two eyes.Zuko's not gonna fuck you sis and not because he's a character,it's because Zuko don't rub elbows with racists-He grew out of that at 16 but y'all didn't follow suit seeing as you were too busy sun and moon-ing to notice that or that Katara and Aang are canonically punk
